Edition 2025 — Le Voyage en Hiver
Fourth edition of Le Voyage en Hiver, from November 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026. The event expanded its luminous trail and program with 42 km of garlands, 66 decorated streets, 14 illuminated squares, 185 crossing decorations, and 130 trees lit up. New artworks, a bird parade, and exceptional programming in Nantes' museums.
4th Edition – Brighter and More Vibrant
For its fourth edition, from November 22, 2025, to January 4, 2026, Le Voyage en Hiver expanded its luminous trail and program throughout the city. Under the direction of Sophie Lévy, the new CEO of Le Voyage à Nantes, the event offered an edition brighter and more vibrant than ever.
Spectacular Illuminations
The figures attest to the scale of the event: 42 km of garlands (19 km for decorations and 23 km for trees), 66 decorated streets, 14 illuminated squares, 185 street crossing decorations, 9 luminous ceilings, 130 highlighted trees, 40 special facades, and 4 lit bell towers. The Cours Franklin Roosevelt, Place Graslin, and the city's monuments benefited from a transformation of ornamental lighting.
Artworks and Activities
- "La nuit, je vois" by Vincent Olinet, for the fourth consecutive year.
- Petite maman Noël by Virginie Barré on the Feydeau esplanade.
- Mon manège éternel by Quentin Faucompré, on Place du Bouffay.
- Bird parade on December 6, Boulevard de la Prairie-au-Duc.
- Passage Pommeraye in festive lights starting November 17.
Exhibitions
Several major exhibitions accompanied this edition: Sous la pluie at the Musée d'arts de Nantes, À cœurs ouverts at the Musée Dobrée, and Art brut, art singulier at Passage Sainte-Croix.
