22nd Les Absinthiades - 2024 Edition

The 22nd edition of Les Absinthiades took place on October 5th and 6th, 2024 in Pontarlier. The event brought together absinthe lovers and enthusiasts for a program rich in tastings, exhibitions, and discoveries.

The best absinthe competition featured 25 absinthes from local and international producers (French, Swiss, German, and Italian), judged by three juries: professional, VIP, and popular. The collector's fair offered vintage fountains, spoons, and period items, while the municipal museum opened its doors for free to present the history of absinthe in Pontarlier.

  • Friday, October 4th: Professional distillers' jury (8 PM - 10 PM)
  • Saturday, October 5th: Collector's fair, workshops, tastings, popular jury (4 PM - 6 PM)
  • Sunday, October 6th: Collector's fair, VIP jury (10:30 AM - 12:30 PM), results ceremony
  • Municipal museum free admission all weekend
