2025 Edition — August 8 to 10
The 2025 edition of Les Celtiques de Guérande took place from Friday, August 8 to Sunday, August 10, with a rich program celebrating Celtic music and dances in the heart of the medieval town.
On Friday evening, the duo Erwann Tobie and Heikki Bourgault opened the festivities, followed by the Irish-American group Solas, a world reference in traditional and contemporary Celtic music.
On Saturday, the afternoons were dedicated to introductions to Breton dances, before a grand fest-noz bringing together four of the best groups on the Breton traditional scene: Startijenn, an emblematic formation of contemporary fest-noz, Digabestr, the duo Rozenn Talec and Yannig Noguet, and Hanternoz.
Sunday began with a singing walk "From the Guérande Hills to the Pays Blanc" at 9:30 AM, followed by the grand parade of bagadoù and Celtic circles through the walled city at 2:30 PM. The stages on Boulevard du Nord hosted concerts and entertainment from 3 PM to 7 PM, featuring notably the Veuzous de la Presqu'île, the Banda de Gaitas Herba Grileira (Galicia), O Fiadeiro, and the Bagad de Rhuys. An exceptional organ and bombarde concert resonated in the Collégiale Saint-Aubin from 4 PM to 5:30 PM, with Tanguy Pacault on bombarde and Christophe Gauche on organ.
