Edition 2025 — Les Chaises Musicales
The 16th edition of the Les Chaises Musicales festival brought together the Ébène Quartet and its guests in the Romanesque church of Vicq-sur-Gartempe for three days of chamber music. On the program: a solo cello recital by Yuya, mezzo-soprano Fiona McGown, bandoneonist William Sabatier in Piazzolla's Five Tango Sensations, and Tchaikovsky's String Quartet No. 3.

16th Edition — Les Chaises Musicales 2025
The sixteenth edition of the festival offered three evenings of exceptional chamber music in the Romanesque church of Vicq-sur-Gartempe. The Ébène Quartet introduced its new member, cellist Yuya, in a solo recital featuring works by Bach, Dutilleux, Cassadó, and Mayuzumi. Mezzo-soprano Fiona McGown enchanted the audience, while bandoneonist William Sabatier joined the quartet for Piazzolla's Five Tango Sensations. The festival concluded with a masterful performance of Tchaikovsky's String Quartet No. 3.
