Les Décades de la Peinture

8th Edition - August 8 to 17, 2025

The Les Décades de la Peinture festival returned for its 8th edition from August 8 to 17, 2025, at the former Jean-Pradier school in Brioude. True to its mission of promoting independent and emerging artists, the festival hosted around fifty creators selected by application.

The main exhibition, free and open from 10 am to 6 pm, allowed the public to discover paintings, drawings, collages, and engravings in a rich and varied artistic trail. The live-painting competition, a highlight of the festival, once again brought together amateur and established painters for live creations. Workshops for children and adults, concerts, and performances completed a multidisciplinary program appreciated by all.
