Edition 2025 — Les Envolées
The 8th edition of Les Envolées, Biennale of young theatre creation, was held from October 4 to 12, 2025, in three venues in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Three emerging companies presented their creations resulting from comprehensive support by the nine partner structures of the initiative.

8th Edition — Biennale of Young Theatre Creation
The 8th edition of Les Envolées took place from October 4 to 12, 2025, in three emblematic venues of the network: L'Autre Rive in Eybens, Le Pot au Noir in Saint-Paul-lès-Monestier, and TMG – Théâtre de Poche in Grenoble.
Three Creations, Three Perspectives
After a demanding selection process and comprehensive support—creation residencies, dramaturgy assistance by Simon Grangeat and Laura Tirandaz, scenographic support by Heidi Folliet (graduate of the TNS School), and stage management by Karim Houari—the three laureate companies presented their first professional creations.
Adorcisme — Collectif Clébards selon ton cœur
Text and direction by Baptiste Febvre. An exploration of adolescence, between the ages of 11 and 16, blending music, images, and theatre to question identity formation during the tumultuous years of youth.
Maelström — Compagnie Le Cri des Vaches
Text and direction by Adèle Lacrampe Peyroutet. The portrait of a grotesque monarch trapped by power, in a style inspired by Dario Fo's theatre, questioning the mechanisms of domination and political absurdity.
Juillet — based on Ivan Viripaev
Directed by Clément Bonhomme. An adaptation of Ivan Viripaev's text delving into the psychology of a septuagenarian murderer, exploring the origins of violence with striking theatrical intensity.
After the October biennale, the three shows continued their tour in partner Lyon theatres in autumn 2025, before concluding their run at the Festival Textes en l'air in Saint-Antoine-l'Abbaye in July 2026.
