Les Festoyades 2024

On July 27 and 28, 2024, the bastide of Monpazier hosted a new edition of Les Festoyades, immersing the village in a medieval atmosphere. The Place des Cornières and the cobbled streets came alive with troubadours, jugglers, fire-eaters, and musicians, creating a festive and authentic ambiance. Visitors witnessed spectacular béhourd demonstrations — full-armor duels — and had the opportunity to try their hand at ancient crafts during the craft workshops: blacksmithing, pottery, and medieval calligraphy. The gourmet market offered tastings of dishes prepared according to traditional medieval recipes.
