The 2025 edition of Les Hivernales de l'Essonne took place from January 7 to March 9, 2025, bringing performances to about fifteen communes in southern Essonne with a contemporary theater program led by the Compagnie Atelier de l'Orage.
Itinerance and Territorial Anchoring
True to its unique model, the festival toured the village halls, community centers, and cultural spaces of partner communes: Villabé, Itteville, Ballancourt, Briis-sous-Forges, and their neighbors. Each performance was an opportunity for a genuine moment of local cultural life, bringing together residents and families around quality shows.
Educational Activities
In parallel with the public performances, school matinees and introductory workshops were organized in the partner communes' schools, allowing hundreds of students to discover the performing arts in a quality educational setting.
