Les mARTmites 2017 - Ferme des Gipières, Cruis

The 2017 edition of the festival was held at the Ferme des Gipières in Cruis, on June 17th and 18th, for a weekend full of artistic and agricultural discoveries.

On Saturday, festival-goers participated in various workshops: digital gardening, making wild plant candies, working with sheep wool (dyeing, felting, tanning), and reproducing traditional seeds with seed exchange. The afternoon featured the children's story "Djamil le crocodile", the theater and magic show "Brice et ses amis", and a solo clown performance.

In the evening, a large banquet of local and seasonal products brought guests together around farm-to-table dishes, followed by an interactive concert by Fidel Minda (Ecuador) blending body percussion and loop station, then a concert by Patrick Kabré (Burkina Faso) and Céline Etter (Italian Switzerland), and finally a DJ set with electro-latino rhythms.

On Sunday, a round table on peasant struggles was held, accompanied by workshops on building birdhouses, family body percussion, nature music, and cheese making with Renaud Dhont. Farm tours and fun discovery trails delighted young and old throughout the weekend.
