Les Mascarades de Clisson 2024: Venetian magic awaits
On May 25 and 26, 2024, Clisson once again donned its festive attire to host Les Mascarades. 130 costumed characters from all over France paraded through the cobbled streets and squares of the Italian-inspired town, offering the public living tableaux of rare elegance. The program for this enchanted weekend included: Venetian processions through the historic center, street performances inspired by the Commedia dell'arte, concerts with Mediterranean flair, an exhibition of costumes and masks at the Galerie du Minage, a festive market of local producers and artisans, and the traditional Venetian gondola ride on the Sèvre nantaise. On Saturday evening, the Féerie des costumés offered an enchanting nocturnal show.
