33rd Edition — September 2025
Les Médiévales au Bord de l'Eau celebrated its 33rd edition on September 6 and 7, 2025. The Saint-Leu district and Parc Saint-Pierre were once again transformed into a vast medieval encampment, hosting over 300 reenactors and a hundred merchants and artisans.
Visitors could witness water jousting on the canals, equestrian tournaments, costumed parades involving over 200 participants, and discover medieval crafts and daily life within the encampment. The medieval market extended from Boulevard du Cange to Boulevard Baraban, offering regional products and period crafts.
The traditional soupe des hortillonnages was distributed free of charge, perpetuating this unique link between Amiens' market-gardening heritage and the medieval festival.
