Edition 2024 — Les Médiévales
The 2024 edition of Les Médiévales de Château-Thierry was held on July 20 and 21, 2024, at the medieval castle. The program included historical reenactments, knightly combat, falconry shows by Les Aigles de Château-Thierry, concerts by Les Coupeurs de Bourses, puppets and tales by the company Ambraluna, a medieval craft market, and a nocturnal fireworks display.

Les Médiévales 2024: "To Your Swords!"
On July 20 and 21, 2024, the medieval castle of Château-Thierry hosted a new edition of Les Médiévales, themed around weapons and chivalry. The castle esplanade transformed into a battlefield and a medieval festival ground.
Visitors witnessed medieval combat demonstrations at 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m., combining gladiatorial combat, Eastern techniques, and traditional clashes. The educational show by Les Aigles de Château-Thierry featured free-flight raptor demonstrations at 3 p.m. within the unique setting of the fortress.
The company Ambraluna delighted the young audience with its puppet shows and medieval tales, while Les Coupeurs de Bourses animated the evenings with their medieval music concerts. Saturday concluded with a nocturnal concert followed by fireworks at 9 p.m., illuminating the castle walls.
The artisanal market, guided tours of the castle, and traditional craft workshops completed this rich and varied program, accessible free of charge to all.
