The 2025 edition of Les Médiévales de Château-Thierry took place on July 5 and 6, 2025, at the medieval castle. Theme: "Between East and West" with grand historical reenactments inspired by the Crusades: Duel of Champions, The Taking of the Bridge, The Meeting of the Three Armies, and The Great Melee of Acre. Concerts and juggling by Ambraluna, falconry, artisanal market, and the Village of the Year 1000.

Les Médiévales 2025: "Between East and West"
On July 5 and 6, 2025, the medieval castle of Château-Thierry hosted an ambitious edition of Les Médiévales, exploring the links between East and West through grand historical reenactments inspired by the Crusades.
The castle esplanade and the dry moat served as the backdrop for spectacular battles: the Duel of Champions pitting knights from the East and West against each other, The Taking of the Bridge for the conquest of the castle, The Meeting of the Three Armies, and the great Melee of Acre. These meticulous reenactments plunged spectators into the heart of medieval clashes.
The company Ambraluna offered concerts and juggling, while medieval tales and children's readings delighted the younger ones. Falconry performances with birds of prey provided a striking spectacle within the fortress walls.
The medieval artisanal market brought together blacksmiths, calligraphers, woodworkers, and craftspeople. The Village of the Year 1000, animated by the association Les Castels, recreated a 10th-11th century encampment with demonstrations of spinning, weaving, and ancient fire-starting techniques. Medieval catering was available on-site.
