Edition 2024 — Médiévales de Ferrette
The 2024 edition of Les Médiévales de Ferrette celebrated the 700th anniversary of the marriage of Jeanne de Ferrette to Albert II of Habsburg in 1324. On June 29th and 30th, the castle and town of Ferrette hosted medieval encampments, equestrian jousts, an artisanal market, fire shows, troubadour concerts, and a grand medieval ball.

2024 Edition — Jeanne's Wedding
On June 29th and 30th, 2024, Les Médiévales de Ferrette celebrated the 700th anniversary of the marriage of Jeanne de Ferrette to Albert II of Habsburg (1324), a historical event that attached the County of Ferrette to the House of Habsburg. At the foot of the castle, visitors could discover recreated medieval encampments, an artisanal market, demonstrations of ancient sports, and workshops for children.
The highlights of this edition included spectacular equestrian jousts, theatrical performances recounting the story of Jeanne de Ferrette, a circus show, the medieval and folk ball on Saturday evening with the group L'Envolée, and a fire show at 10 PM. The final procession on Sunday at 5 PM concluded this commemorative edition in a festive and moving atmosphere.
