2024 Edition: The Legend of Bertrand de Gourdon

The Médiévales de Gourdon 2024 took place on Sunday, August 4th, and Monday, August 5th, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM on Sunday and from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM on Monday, in the medieval town of Gourdon.

Program Highlights

The 2024 edition offered a particularly rich program focused on a dive into the 15th century:

• Historical Shows on the legend of Bertrand de Gourdon and Richard the Lionheart, presented by Héritages du Sénéchal
• Knight Tournaments by the company CowProd and other troupes
• Parade of Geese accompanied by a border collie, an original animation
• Young Audience Shows: dragon shows, puppet theater, medieval tales, interactive shows, and magic
• Medieval Concerts by Turba Musica and Tanneurs de Drac (concert at 9:00 PM)
• Artisanal Crafts: glassblowers, weavers, woodturners, lacemakers, blacksmiths, calligraphers
• MJC Workshops: heraldry, giant board games, wooden games, storytelling
• Merchant Quarter with medieval catering and period products
