Edition 2025 — Médiévales de Gourdon
2025 edition of Les Médiévales de Gourdon, on Sunday, August 3rd and Monday, August 4th. Two days of medieval festivities in the historic town of Gourdon with encampments, knight tournaments, street performances, artisan crafts, medieval music, an animated banquet on Sunday evening, and a fire show on Monday evening.
2025 Edition: A Dive into the 15th Century
The Médiévales de Gourdon 2025 took place on Sunday, August 3rd, and Monday, August 4th, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM, in the streets and squares of the medieval town of Gourdon.
Program of Activities
Throughout the two days, visitors enjoyed a rich and varied program:
- Medieval Encampments with workshops on calligraphy, medieval cooking, medicine, and blacksmithing
- Scenes on the Art of War: archery and crossbow demonstrations, sword fights
- Knight Tournaments presented by reenactment troupes
- The Legend of Bertrand de Gourdon staged by Héritages du Sénéchal
- Young Audience Shows: puppet shows, medieval tales, dragon shows
- Medieval Concerts and street entertainment by jugglers, stilt walkers, and acrobats
- Medieval Market: glassblowers, weavers, blacksmiths, lacemakers, woodturners
Special Evening Events
Sunday, August 3rd at 8:00 PM: Grand medieval banquet animated by troubadours (€25 per person).
Monday, August 4th at 10:00 PM: Final fire show (adult €8, child 6-12 years €5).
