2025 Edition: A Dive into the 15th Century
The Médiévales de Gourdon 2025 took place on Sunday, August 3rd, and Monday, August 4th, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM, in the streets and squares of the medieval town of Gourdon.
Program of Activities
Throughout the two days, visitors enjoyed a rich and varied program:
- Medieval Encampments with workshops on calligraphy, medieval cooking, medicine, and blacksmithing
- Scenes on the Art of War: archery and crossbow demonstrations, sword fights
- Knight Tournaments presented by reenactment troupes
- The Legend of Bertrand de Gourdon staged by Héritages du Sénéchal
- Young Audience Shows: puppet shows, medieval tales, dragon shows
- Medieval Concerts and street entertainment by jugglers, stilt walkers, and acrobats
- Medieval Market: glassblowers, weavers, blacksmiths, lacemakers, woodturners
Special Evening Events
Sunday, August 3rd at 8:00 PM: Grand medieval banquet animated by troubadours (€25 per person).
Monday, August 4th at 10:00 PM: Final fire show (adult €8, child 6-12 years €5).
