The 25th edition of the Les Montagn'Arts festival was held from June 6 to 8, 2025, at the Valbonnais lake. 25th Edition - Les Montagn'Arts Celebrates 25 Years

The 2025 edition of the Les Montagn'Arts festival marked a significant milestone: 25 years of live performance in the mountains. From Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, the Valbonnais lake hosted thousands of spectators for a Pentecost weekend full of artistic discoveries and shared moments.

For this anniversary, the association's 150 volunteers redoubled their energy to transform the site into a magical and welcoming place. The program happily blended theater, circus, dance, music, storytelling, and street arts, offering shows for all ages and tastes.

Program Highlights

Among the memorable moments of this anniversary edition:

  • Batukélibre: a street percussion orchestra with enchanting Afro-Brazilian rhythms, parading on site on Saturday evening
  • Ciel: a poetic and aerial contemporary dance performance, presented in several shows on Saturday and Sunday
  • La Passion du Bois: woodturning, fretwork, sculpture, and collage workshops open to children throughout the weekend
  • Ecological Ride: the festival's iconic pedal-powered rides, offering fun and ecological rides for the youngest
  • Compagnie La Baleine Cargo: "Furtives", a show blending theater, dance, and sign language
  • Les Josianes: a circus and dance performance for a moment of grace and laughter

Friday was dedicated to school days, welcoming nearly 900 children from local schools for adapted shows and discovery workshops. On Saturday and Sunday, the general public enjoyed a vibrant program, punctuated by the traditional Sunday market of local producers and artisans, screen printing stands, and the conviviality of La Buv'Art and La Patat'Art.
