Anniversary Edition: 40 Years of Latin Music
The 2025 edition of Les Musicales du Puy-en-Velay celebrated the 40th anniversary of the festival in the exceptional setting of the upper town of Le Puy-en-Velay. This anniversary edition, creative, enthusiastic, and colorful, offered a program with a particularly strong Hispanic resonance, alternating the lively rhythms of Spanish groups and calmer grand artistic creations of pure Latin culture.
As every year, the festival offered about ten workshops led by renowned national and international professional teachers and musicians, five evening concerts, festive off-program events, and numerous musical moments on the unique site of the Centre Pierre Cardinal and the Esplanade Claude Nougaro.
This anniversary edition was an opportunity to look back at four decades of musical encounters and cultural sharing around Latin music, confirming the place of Les Musicales du Puy-en-Velay as a must-attend event for world music enthusiasts.
