Edition 2024 — Nuits de la Citadelle
The 69th edition of Les Nuits de la Citadelle was held from July 19 to August 13, 2024. The festival offered seven evenings dedicated to music, song, theatre, circus, and dance, with a varied program ranging from classical music to circus arts, invited for the first time in sixty-nine years of the festival's existence.

69th Edition - The Entry of the Circus
The 2024 edition of Les Nuits de la Citadelle marked a historic turning point with the entry of circus arts into the program, a first in the festival's sixty-nine-year history. Seven exceptional evenings punctuated the Sisteron summer, offering a journey through the performing arts in the magnificent setting of the citadel and the Cloître Saint-Dominique.
The program combined opera, classical music, dance, and circus with renewed artistic ambition. Among the highlights, the audience enjoyed Aux deux colombes to open on July 19, Une Nuit à l'Opéra on July 26, the recital Fiesta Criolla on July 29, a Tribute to Maurice Béjart on August 2, the String Quintet of the Berlin Philharmonic on August 5, and the monumental Beethoven's 9th Symphony on August 8.
