Edition 2025 — Nuits de l'Enclave
The 2025 edition of Les Nuits de l'Enclave des Papes brought together over 2,300 spectators in the four communes of the Enclave, from July 18th to 27th. Theater, circus, and street arts animated Valréas, Visan, Richerenches, and Grillon, with sold-out shows and an opening night that gathered over 500 people.
2025 Edition — Over 2,300 Spectators in the Enclave
The Nuits de l'Enclave des Papes 2025 lived up to all expectations, gathering over 2,300 spectators across the four communes of the Enclave from July 18th to 27th. This edition was marked by sold-out performances, a festive and convivial atmosphere, and a rich program blending theater, circus, dance, and street arts.
A Memorable Opening Night
The opening night, on July 18th, brought together over 500 people for an open-air inaugural evening. The show Gagarine is not dead kicked off the festival with a bang, followed by the concert Route 66 that extended the celebration into the heart of the night. A warm and popular festive atmosphere set the tone for the entire edition.
Arcanae, the Festival's Flagship Show
The most anticipated show of the 2025 edition was undoubtedly Arcanae, a production by the Cirque de la Guirlande. With its blend of acrobatics, visual poetry, and wordless storytelling, this performance played to sold-out houses at every showing, confirming the public's enthusiasm for auteur contemporary circus. The atmosphere under the big top, the quality of the artists, and the emotion conveyed by the show left a lasting impression on the audience.
The 3 Musketeers — The Series: Confirmed Success
The CDDV's flagship production, Les 3 Mousquetaires — La Série, achieved 80% capacity during its performances. This contemporary adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' novel captivated a large family audience, who appreciated the actors' energy and the modern staging.
Outreach and Workshops
Beyond the performances, the festival offered outreach activities in conjunction with the Micro-Folie of the Château de Simiane in Valréas, allowing children and families to discover digital arts and local heritage in a fun and participatory way. Guided tours of the castle and artistic workshops complemented the program.
A Closing Under the Stars
The closing performance, Le dîner chez les Français, presented at the Espace Jean-Baptiste Niel in Valréas, gathered over 400 spectators for a warm final evening. A powerful image of a festival that successfully brings together locals and visitors around a shared passion for live performance.
