Edition 2025 — 6x6 Haut-Lignon

The 5th edition of the 6x6 trail, titled "Ici au loin" (Here and Far Away), took place from June 27 to August 25, 2025, in the six communes of Haut-Lignon. Nine photographers and about fifteen artists were presented, with two renowned international guests: Finn Pentti Sammallahti and American Lucian Perkins (two-time Pulitzer Prize winner). The theme, borrowed from a book by Sammallahti published by Actes Sud, contrasted a certain way of life on the Vivarais-Lignon plateau with perspectives from elsewhere. Over twenty free events: concerts, screenings, linocut workshops, guided tours, and performances.

2025 Edition — Ici au loin (Here and Far Away)

The 5th edition of the 6x6 photographic trail took place from June 27 to August 25, 2025, under the title "Ici au loin", borrowed from a book by Finnish photographer Pentti Sammallahti published by Actes Sud.

Nine Photographers Between Here and Elsewhere

The edition brought together nine photographers, blending local artists and international guests: Pentti Sammallahti (Finland, poetic black and white photographs, in Le Chambon-sur-Lignon), Lucian Perkins (USA, "Ozarks", two-time Pulitzer Prize winner, in Le Mazet-Saint-Voy), Alexis Vettoretti ("Paysannes", historical portraits, in Tence), Luc Chazot (portraits and "Face à face", in Chenereilles), Dominique Berta (Chambon and Saint-Agrève, in Le Mas-de-Tence), Françoise Fournier (daily life of a butcher, in Le Mas-de-Tence), Béatrice Ropers (traditional dwellings, in Le Mas-de-Tence), Jean-Marc Vidal (hikers and landscapes, in Saint-Jeures), and Gérard Rondeau (archive of 4 unpublished photos, in Saint-Jeures).

A Rich Program of Events

The vernissage was held on Friday, June 27, in Le Mas-de-Tence. More than twenty free events were offered throughout the summer: a concert by Lemofil on July 5, documentary and film screenings, linocut workshops, a performance by Clément Bransiani, guided tours with the artists, and readings. The festival confirmed its reach with increased attendance compared to previous editions.
