The 55th edition of Les Rencontres de la Photographie d'Arles unfolded from July 1 to September 29, 2024, with an Opening Week from July 1 to 7. Under the theme "Ripples, spirits, traces, parallel readings and rereadings", this edition featured over fifty exhibitions in the official program and nearly a hundred in the Off.
The program offered new perspectives as photographers, artists, and curators unveiled their visions and stories of our humanity. Japanese artists were particularly highlighted in this edition, demonstrating the festival's international reach.
