Edition 2025 — RVH Blois
The 28th edition of Les Rendez-vous de l'Histoire will take place from October 8 to 12, 2025, in Blois on the theme "La France?". Over 1,000 speakers, 600 conferences, a book fair presided over by Emmanuel Carrère, a cycle of 50 films, and 50,000 festival-goers are expected.
Les Rendez-vous de l'Histoire 2025 - La France?
The 28th edition of Les Rendez-vous de l'Histoire will take place from October 8 to 12, 2025, in Blois on the theme "La France?". This theme questions the identity, history, and representations of the French nation through the centuries.
The Book Fair, from October 10 to 12, will be presided over by the writer Emmanuel Carrère. The program includes over 1,000 speakers, more than 600 debates and conferences, 300 authors for signings, and 150 publishers. A cycle of 50 films, historical cafés, dinners, and exhibitions complete the program.
For the first time, the festival offers the public the opportunity to attend recordings of historical podcasts. Among the speakers are professors Anne Cheng, Patrick Boucheron, Antoine Lilti, and Henry Laurens from the Collège de France.
