29th edition: the celebration of world music
The 29th edition of Les Suds, a Arles took place from July 8 to 14, 2024, bringing together nearly 40,000 spectators in the heart of the ancient city. For 7 days and 6 nights, the festival offered over 80 concerts and musical encounters, dance, singing, and instrument workshops and masterclasses, as well as film screenings, "aperitifs-découvertes", and "siestes musicales".
The Ancient Theatre, the Cloister of Saint-Trophime, and the churches in the city center hosted artists from five continents, in an atmosphere of celebration and musical discovery that has made the festival famous.
