18th Edition — July-August 2025
For its 18th edition, L'Été du Canal took over the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, Canal Saint-Denis, and Bassin de la Villette from July 5 to August 10, 2025. Under the summer sun, over fifty themed cruises, open-air shows, popular dances, and water activities transformed the Parisian and Seine-Saint-Denis canals into a vast space for festive and popular leisure.
Canal en Pagaies: Opening with a Fanfare
On July 5, 2025, Canal en Pagaies opened the festival with a grand collective descent by canoe, kayak, and paddle from Sevran to Pantin, over ten kilometers of route dotted with artistic entertainment. Several hundred participants paddled together before joining the festive arrival area, transformed into a zone for concerts and DJ sets.
Olympic Heritage
The 2025 edition integrated a strong commemorative dimension around the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. A 15 km urban walk on July 20, punctuated by visits and discovery cruises around the Stade de France and the Olympic sites of Seine-Saint-Denis, brought together hundreds of walkers.
