Edition 2025 — Loire en Couleur
The 22nd edition of Loire en Couleur was held on June 7 and 8, 2025, Pentecost weekend, in the medieval village of Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice-sur-Loire. About fifty painters took over the alleyways, gardens, and banks of the Loire for two days of outdoor creation, accompanied by street performances, art workshops, and the traditional auction of canvases created during the festival.

22nd Edition - June 7 and 8, 2025
For its 22nd edition, Loire en Couleur once again took over the medieval village of Saint-Jean-Saint-Maurice-sur-Loire on Pentecost weekend, June 7 and 8, 2025. True to its identity, the festival brought together about fifty painters who set up outdoors in the village's alleyways, gardens, squares, and along the Loire.
Visitors could stroll among the easels, discover the artists at work, and chat with them about their techniques: watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, ink, and drawing. Four emblematic viewpoints marked the route: the Port de la Caille, the Esplanade de la Tour, the Place du Guet, and the Cour du Manoir.
In parallel with the painting, street performance troupes animated the village with circus, theater, and music performances. Introduction workshops to crafts were offered to children and adults, while guided tours of the Saint-Maurice church frescoes and sketching hikes completed the program.
On Sunday evening, the traditional auction of canvases created during the festival concluded this edition in the garden of La Cure.
