Lumexplore celebrates its 10th anniversary
The 10th edition of Lumexplore, an anniversary edition, was held from September 9 to 14, 2025, at the Eden-Théâtre in La Ciotat. To celebrate a decade of scientific exploration cinema, the festival offered an enriched program over six days, featuring documentary film screenings, exceptional conferences, exhibitions, and free workshops.
This anniversary edition provided an opportunity to revisit ten years of discoveries shared with the public, from oceanography to archaeology, from speleology to space exploration. The Lumexplore Junior competition continued to encourage aspiring young filmmakers, confirming the festival's educational and inspiring role. Exploration vessel tours and stand activities complemented a particularly rich program for this anniversary edition.
