Edition 2025 — Marathon de Chablis
6th Edition — Saturday, October 25, 2025
The 6th edition of the Marathon de Chablis was held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, simultaneously with the 77th Fête des Vins de Chablis. The event brought together over 4,000 participants across all events, confirming the growth momentum of the race since its creation in 2019.
The marathon started at 8:30 AM from the Patis sector, taking runners through the Grands Crus vineyards, the villages of Fontenay-Près-Chablis, Poinchy, Beines, La Chapelle-Vaupelteigne, Villy, and Maligny, before the ascent of the Mur du Marathon at Fyé and the final descent to Chablis. The half-marathon started from the Abbaye de Pontigny at 11:00 AM.
The 14 km race (through the vineyards of Fleys, start 3:30 PM) saw 78 participants, with Alexandre Hellio winning in 51:03, ahead of Yann Michelet and Gaël Métras.
In the event's festive tradition, many runners participated in costumes, and the aid stations offered Chablis wine tastings along the course. Each finisher received their wooden medal made in France and their bottle of Chablis at the finish line. Over 4,000 professional photos were made available to participants after the race.
