On May 8th, 2025, the center of the village of Bassou once again came alive for the traditional Flower Market. Nursery owners, florists, artisans, and local producers offered their finest spring creations to visitors who came in large numbers from the Auxerrois region and neighboring towns.

The day combined shopping for seasonal plants and flowers, tasting Burgundy snails prepared traditionally, and friendly activities for all ages. A market true to the tradition of rural festivals in the Yonne, set in the green riverside landscape of this charming village.
