42nd edition: Vivaldi, Rutter, and Rheinberger
The 42nd edition of the Massat Music Mountain festival took place from July 13 to 27, 2024. About sixty choristers gathered in Massat for the choral workshop under the direction of Daniel Bargier.
The musical program included Rutter's Magnificat, works by Vivaldi, and Rheinberger's Stabat Mater. Four concerts were held in Couserans, including two chamber music concerts and two grand concerts with the festival choir, the symphony orchestra, and soloists. The main concerts took place on July 25 at Saint-Lizier Cathedral and on July 26 at Biert Church, at 9 PM.
