The 2024-2025 season at MC93 Bobigny offered from September 2024 to July 2025 an international program of contemporary theater, dance, circus, and performances. Among the highlights were L'Écho by Nacera Belaza and Valérie Dréville, which opened the season in September, and the plan D festival with the CND, which presented off-site choreographic creations in November.
2024-2025 Season
The 2024-2025 season at MC93, running from September 2024 to July 2025, offered a rich and demanding program, true to the venue's international vocation. Contemporary theater, dance, circus, and hybrid forms were presented in MC93's Grande Salle and Petite Salle.
Season Highlights
L'Écho, a creation by choreographer Nacera Belaza and actress Valérie Dréville, opened the season in September 2024 with rare intensity, exploring the relationships between body, voice, and silence in a piece on the border of theater and dance.
In November 2024, the second edition of plan D, an off-site dance program co-organized with the Centre national de la danse, featured creations by Christian Rizzo, Anna Massoni, and Michael Turinsky in unusual spaces in Bobigny and the 93 department.
In March-April 2025, Boat People, a grand theatrical fresco blending memory of exiles, water puppetry, and sound archives, left a lasting impression with its scope and poetry.
