Edition 2025 — Ervy Medieval Festival
The 11th edition of the Medieval Festival of Ervy-le-Châtel was held on August 2nd and 3rd, 2025, with the theme 'The Illusion of Twisted Beaks'. The program included an alchemical circus show by the company Bleu Nuage, fire shows, bird of prey demonstrations by L'Échappée Morvan d'Ailes, acrobats and jugglers from the company Ballarom, gargoyles from Cirkonflexe, drumming by Coupeurs de Bourse, a medieval market, three encampments, and a grand banquet followed by a fireworks display.

11th Edition: 'The Illusion of Twisted Beaks' — 2025
On August 2nd and 3rd, 2025, the fortified town of Ervy-le-Châtel vibrated to the rhythm of the 11th edition of its medieval festival, themed around the mysterious 'The Illusion of Twisted Beaks'.
The flagship show of this edition was the alchemical circus by the company Bleu Nuage, where alchemists attempted to recreate the world with their alembics, playing with fire, water, smoke, and bubbles. The acrobats and jugglers from the company Ballarom paraded through the streets alongside the gargoyles from Cirkonflexe, while the drumming of Coupeurs de Bourse echoed throughout the village.
On Sunday, a free-flight bird of prey demonstration by L'Échappée Morvan d'Ailes featured flights of eagles, falcons, and other birds of prey. On Saturday evening, the grand medieval banquet gathered guests before a final fireworks display.
The medieval market, the three historical encampments, and the children's area with old-fashioned games, calligraphy, and storytelling completed this rich and festive edition.
