Edition 2025 — Medieval Festival of Lusignan
The 21st edition of the Medieval Festival of Lusignan was held on July 19 and 20, 2025, on the Promenade de Blossac and the Place du Bail. Medieval market, encampments, sword fights, troubadours, fire show, and a grand animated banquet delighted the many visitors in the city of Mélusine.
21st Edition — July 19-20, 2025
The 21st edition of the Medieval Festival of Lusignan took place on July 19 and 20, 2025, on the Promenade de Blossac and the Place du Bail. The medieval market with about thirty exhibitors, the recreated encampments, the shows by troubadours and minstrels, the sword fights, and the spectacular fire show on Saturday evening confirmed the popular success of this free, family-friendly festival dedicated to medieval heritage and the legend of Mélusine.
Programme
2025 Program
- Saturday, July 19: opening at 2 p.m., medieval market, encampments, artisan workshops, sword fights, troubadours and minstrels, short plays about Mélusine at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., grand animated medieval banquet in the evening (reservation required), fire show at 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday, July 20: opening at 10 a.m., medieval market, encampments, children's activities (archery, wooden games, pony rides), medieval storytelling, short plays about Mélusine at 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., closing at 6 p.m.
