Medieval Journey 2025: A Successful First Edition
On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Tourrette-Levens inaugurated the first edition of its "Medieval Journey", an enhanced program designed by the Tourist Animation Office.
From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the castle became a playground for children with combat workshops, weaving, face painting, and the discovery of medieval plants in the garden. From 6 p.m. onwards, the heart of the village came alive with musicians, jugglers, fire-breathers, and interactive shows.
Five local and regional companies offered lively performances blending theater, dance, and traditional music. The knight fights, demonstrations of ancient fencing, and the medieval parade were the highlights of the evening. The on-site catering offered grilled meats, crêpes, and the traditional Niçois socca.
