Médiévales Loing et Orvanne
2025
Edition 2025 — Finished
Edition 2025 — Médiévales de Moret
2nd Edition — July 4th to 6th, 2025
The 2nd edition of Médiévales Loing et Orvanne took over the historic center of Moret-sur-Loing from July 4th to 6th, 2025. Over twenty-five associations and dozens of volunteers participated in this participatory medieval festival.
The artisan village brought together blacksmiths, weavers, tanners, goldsmiths, and medieval cooks. The inter-communal nautical jousting on the Loing offered a colorful spectacle. The royal procession paraded through the city streets to the grand banquet featuring historical recipes.
The program also included equestrian shows, ancient music, theater, tales and fabliaux, a giant medieval Cluedo, harp-making workshops, living tableaux, medieval farces, an open-air cinema, guided tours, conferences, and exhibitions.
