Melon en Fête 2025 — July 4th and 5th in Cavaillon
On July 4th and 5th, 2025, Cavaillon celebrated its emblematic IGP melon during the Féria du Melon. The Place du Clos and the pedestrian streets of the town center hosted the grand gourmet market, bringing together market gardeners from the Luberon plain and food artisans from the Vaucluse.
Visitors could taste freshly harvested Cavaillon melons, discover the different varieties, and meet the producers. The most beautiful melon contest and the popular fastest melon eater contest livened up the squares, to the laughter and cheers of the public. Local chefs gave culinary demonstrations highlighting the melon in creative sweet and savory dishes.
Provençal musicians and street performers enlivened both days, making this edition a warm, popular, and family-friendly festival, entirely free of charge.

- 9 am – 8 pm (both days): Grand producers' market on Place du Clos and pedestrian streets
- 10 am: Musical entertainment and street performers in the town center
- 11 am: Culinary demonstrations — Cavaillon melon recipes
