19th Edition - Dia de los Muertos 2025
The 19th edition of the Mexican and Latin Festival took place from October 31st to November 2nd, 2025 at the Halle de Martel, with a program centered on the Día de los Muertos tradition.
On Friday, October 31st, the festival opened with an aperitif at the collective altar, a participatory installation in homage to the deceased according to Mexican tradition.
Saturday, November 1st, was the main festive day with creative workshops from 2 PM to 4 PM (€3 + snack offered) featuring the creation of ojos de dios, skull decoration, mask painting, and coloring. Face painting was available from 2 PM to 6 PM (€5). At 4:30 PM, a children's snack preceded the costume parade at 5 PM with a catrina and catrin contest. Piñata games animated the square at 5:30 PM, followed by a children's dance party from 6:15 PM to 7:15 PM.
The evening began at 7 PM with the bar and the Mexican cantina, followed at 8:30 PM by a dance show with La Bruja. The party continued with the Latin dance party hosted by Tamalindo, an electro-folk-cumbia trio, for an electrifying dancing night.
