Edition 2025 — Richerenches Truffle Mass
On the third Sunday of January 2025, Richerenches hosted the Truffle Mass in the Saint-Denis church. Truffle market from dawn, religious ceremony with offering of black truffles, auction of blessed truffles, and gastronomic meal. Several thousand visitors attended.

Richerenches Truffle Mass — January 19, 2025
On Sunday, January 19, 2025, the third Sunday of the month, Richerenches pulsed to the rhythm of its annual Truffle Mass. From the early morning hours, truffle growers from Tricastin and Haut-Vaucluse filled the alleys of the Templar commandery for the truffle market, the largest in Europe. Buyers from all over France and abroad made the trip to acquire the finest Tuber melanosporum of the season.
At 10:30 AM, the Saint-Denis church hosted the traditional ceremony. As every year, during the collection, the faithful placed their truffles in the baskets circulating in the nave, perpetuating this gesture of generosity unique in the world. The finest truffles offered were then auctioned for the benefit of parish and local charities.
In the afternoon, the gastronomic meal prepared with fresh truffles brought participants together around an exceptional table: truffle omelette, truffle-stuffed poultry, and other creations enhanced by the black diamond of Vaucluse.
