Edition 2025 — Monéteau Christmas Market
The 27th edition of the Monéteau Christmas Market was held on December 6 and 7, 2025, on the church square. The program included: 70 chalets, German specialties from the twin town of Föhren, an illuminated parade with bracelets offered to children, fireworks on Saturday at 7:15 PM, Santa's Grotto, a choir concert, and Santa's Workshop on Sunday.

27th Edition of the Monéteau Christmas Market
The 27th edition of the Monéteau Christmas Market took place on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday, December 7, 2025, on the church square and adjacent parking lots. True to its tradition, the Monéteau Twinning Committee gathered 70 wooden chalets to offer visitors a weekend of conviviality and Christmas magic.
The delegation from the twin town of Föhren was once again present with its Rhenish specialties: Reibekuchen, Bratwürste, Glühwein, Zimtwaffeln, and Bretzels. Alongside German flavors, local producers offered Yonne wines, cheeses, gingerbread, and Burgundian crafts.
Saturday evening was marked by an illuminated parade crossing the market, followed by fireworks at 7:15 PM that lit up the Monéteau sky to the applause of the crowd. Children could visit Santa Claus in his grotto and enjoy his sleigh rides. On Sunday afternoon, the local choir entertained the market with Christmas carols, before Santa's Workshop. The church also hosted a flower exhibition, and craftswomen presented their lace and patchwork creations.
