2024 Edition: Balloons over Charlemont
The 2024 edition of the Montgolfiades took place on July 6th and 7th at the Fort de Charlemont. Visitors were able to witness the inflation and launch of numerous colorful hot air balloons from the esplanade of the historic fortress. The balloons rose above the Meuse valley, offering a magical spectacle in the Givet sky.
Hot air balloon flights were offered to adventure enthusiasts, with launches in the morning and evening. Children participated in "teddy bear baptisms" in mini hot air balloons. Access to the launch spectacle was free for everyone.
