2024-2025 Season — A Rich and Varied Program

The 2024-2025 season of Musique en Othe kept all its promises by offering the residents of Cerisiers and the Pays d'Othe a varied program covering Latin jazz, tribute to French chanson, world music, and choral singing.

Autumn 2024 — Jazz, Salsa, and Tribute to Nougaro

The season began in the fall with Felipe Quemao (October 2024), offering a musical journey blending salsa and Latin jazz. In November 2024, the association organized a concert paying tribute to Claude Nougaro, the poet of jazz and French chanson, in a warm and nostalgic evening.

Winter and Spring 2025 — Piano Bar, Trio Latino, and Choirs

In March 2025, two events followed one another: first, the Trio Latino composed of Sergio Roa Brith, Fernando Roa, and Magaly Velasco took the audience on a musical journey through Latin American rhythms. Then, the Piano-Bar evening with Philippe Brulé, a pianist and singer with a forty-year international career, offered an intimate moment blending savory anecdotes, covers of Ray Charles and Michel Polnareff, and duets with his wife Marianne. Doors opened at 8 PM, the show lasted two hours with an intermission. Admission was €10 for adults, €5 for 12-17 year olds, and free for children under 12.

The season concluded in May 2025 with the Concert of the 3 choirs, a moment of choral celebration bringing together three vocal groups from the region for a festive and fraternal gathering on the stage of the Cerisiers village hall.
