Heavy Weekend 2024: A Historic First Edition
The very first edition of Heavy Weekend took place from June 21 to 23, 2024, in the outdoor amphitheater of the Zénith du Grand Nancy. For this inaugural edition, Gérard Drouot Productions brought together six absolute legends of hard rock and heavy metal on a single stage: Scorpions, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, and Extreme. The lineup was completed by Pretty Maids, Tom Morello, Ayron Jones, The Last Internationale, and Sortilège.
The event immediately made an impression with the exceptional quality of its lineup and the unique setting of the outdoor amphitheater, confirming the potential of the Zénith de Nancy to host an international-scale metal festival.
