The 2025 National Day in Villeneuve-sur-Yonne brought together residents and visitors on the banks of the Yonne river for two days of republican and festive celebration. On the evening of July 13th, the torchlight parade wound through the medieval streets of the royal bastide in a patriotic and warm atmosphere, followed by a lively popular ball by the water.

On July 14th, the traditional Regattas and Boatmen enlivened the course of the Yonne with their colorful boats, while spectators on the banks enjoyed the nautical show and the summer sun. In the evening, the fireworks launched over the river illuminated the medieval towers of Villeneuve-sur-Yonne in an exceptional spectacle.
