The 2025 edition of the Neuf-Brisach Village 1700 Christmas Market was held from December 12 to 14 in the Vauban fortified city. The immersive historic village, with its artisans in period costumes, its wild boar roast tavern, its living nativity scene, and its demonstrations of ancestral crafts, attracted over forty thousand visitors over three days.

Neuf-Brisach Village 1700 Christmas Market 2025
The 2025 edition of the Christmas Market of Yesteryear — Village 1700 transported visitors to the 18th century from December 12 to 14. In the Vauban fortified city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the historic village recreated daily life in the time of Louis XIV with its artisans in period costumes: blacksmiths, cobblers, basket weavers, weavers, and woodturners.
The period tavern with its wild boar roasted on the spit, the living nativity scene with its farm animals, the storytellers narrating Alsatian legends, and the apple pressing demonstrations made this edition a success with over forty thousand visitors. The classic craft market near the Town Hall completed the offering with its quality creations.
