Edition 2025 — Pastel Night
The 14th edition of Pastel Night took place on May 31, 2025, in Albi, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Albi-Girona twinning. Nearly 200 Catalan guests enlivened the flowery and luminous route: stick dances (bastoners), processional giants, brass bands, and four Castells performances in Place de la Pile and Esplanade des Cordeliers. The closing show "Voyage dans l'Absurdie" by Les Plasticiens Volants lit up Place Sainte-Cécile at 11 PM.

14th Pastel Night — May 31, 2025
The 14th edition of Pastel Night placed Catalonia at the heart of the celebration, marking the 40th anniversary of the twinning between Albi and Girona. Nearly 200 Catalan guests crossed the medieval streets of the episcopal city to share their culture and traditions.
From 5 PM, over 20 free-access artistic proposals animated the flowery route, from the Grand Théâtre des Cordeliers to the Pont Vieux. The bastoners performed their traditional stick dance at 7 PM, while giants paraded through the streets and Catalan brass bands enlivened the promenade. The impressive Castells—Catalan human towers inscribed on the UNESCO heritage list—were performed four times during the evening, attracting hundreds of amazed spectators.
At 11 PM, Place Sainte-Cécile vibrated to the rhythm of the show by Les Plasticiens Volants, "Voyage dans l'Absurdie": giant inflatable structures, lights, and music transformed the forecourt of the Gothic cathedral into a poetic and magical universe, for an unforgettable finale.
