Open Doors of the Vézelay Vineyard - 2025 Edition
The weekend of May 17-18, 2025 saw the doors of the wine estates of the Bourgogne Vézelay appellation open once again. In the exceptional setting of the eternal hill and the medieval village of Vézelay, visitors could wander from cellar to cellar, discover the vines in bloom in May, and taste the latest vintages of the vineyard's Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.
The Vignerons de la Colline Éternelle cooperative, in Saint-Père-sous-Vézelay, welcomed a record number of visitors for its commented tastings and electric bike tours along the wine routes. Domaine de la Croix Montjoie and Cellier de l'Abbaye offered thematic tasting workshops highlighting the organic practices adopted by the entire vineyard. This edition confirmed the growing appeal of an appellation that increasingly attracts Burgundy wine lovers seeking authenticity and terroir.
