Edition 2025 — Opéra en Plein Air
The 2025 edition of the Opéra en Plein Air Festival at the Domaine de Sceaux presented Carmen by Georges Bizet on June 15 and 16, 2025, directed by Radu Mihaileanu. The Maîtrise des Hauts-de-Seine participated in this memorable production in the sumptuous setting of the Château de Sceaux gardens.

The Opéra en Plein Air Festival presented one of the most popular works in the lyrical repertoire at the Domaine de Sceaux on June 15 and 16, 2025: Carmen by Georges Bizet.
A Spectacular Staging
The staging was entrusted to Radu Mihaileanu, a renowned filmmaker and director, who offered a vision of Carmen blending tradition and modernity, in a set designed to blend harmoniously with the natural setting of the park. The Maîtrise des Hauts-de-Seine, a nationally renowned vocal ensemble, participated in the performances, adding an extra dimension to this production.
An Unforgettable Setting
The stage set up facing the Château de Sceaux, with the grand lawns and illuminated bodies of water as a backdrop, offered spectators an exceptional setting for contemplation. Both evenings drew a large and enthusiastic audience, captivated by the combined beauty of Bizet's music and the Parc de Sceaux under the stars.
