Edition 2024 — Orgue & Cosmos
2nd edition of the Orgue & Cosmos Festival in Oust, on August 7th and 8th, 2024. Lecture by Dominique Proust on the church square on August 7th at 11 am, video-organ performance by Marc Giacone on August 7th at 8:30 pm, and organ concert by Dominique Proust on August 8th at 4 pm.
2nd edition: science, digital art, and organ
The 2nd edition of the Orgue & Cosmos Festival took place on August 7th and 8th, 2024 at the Saint-Barthélemy church in Oust. Astrophysicist-organist Dominique Proust opened the festival with a fascinating lecture on the church square on August 7th at 11 am, followed in the evening by an exceptional audiovisual performance by Marc Giacone, who improvised on the organ in synchronization with digital synthesis videos projected on a large screen. The next day, Dominique Proust offered an organ concert at 4 pm, concluding this edition with a sonic journey between sacred music and the cosmos.
