Ozélir 2022 — 1st edition

The very first edition of the Ozélir festival took place from May 11 to 24, 2022, launched on the occasion of "Reading, a National Great Cause" decreed by the President of the Republic. This literary festival, unprecedented in France, mobilized over 170 speakers and 34 partners to offer more than 70 moments of emotion and encounters in 40 municipalities of Loiret.

The inauguration, on May 11 at the Hôtel du Département, brought together leading academicians: Jean-Christophe Rufin, Frédéric Vitoux, and Sylvie Germain. The program included a giant dictation led by the Dico d'Or team on May 14, the awarding of the Loiret Manga Prize, the Litt'oral festival in Saint-Jean-de-Braye dedicated to short stories, the Book Meetings at the Atelier-Musée de l'Imprimerie, and a special evening dedicated to women authors.
