PIFFF presented its 14th edition from December 10 to 16, 2025, at the Max Linder Panorama cinema. Out of over 400 submitted films, only 20 were selected, confirming the festival's philosophy of prioritizing quality over quantity.
Japanese Cinema in the Spotlight
The 2025 edition placed a significant emphasis on Japanese cinema, with seven Japanese films in the program, demonstrating the vitality of the fantastic genre in Japan. From atmospheric horror to psychological thrillers, these films offered a striking panorama of contemporary Japanese creation.
Competition and Special Screenings
